WHY DOES THE EXPANSION OF A CITY IMPLY THE DESTRUCTION OF ITS ENVIRONMENT?
The expansion of a city implies the destruction of the environment for many reasons which can be:
1. the felling of trees
2. non-renewable resources are depleted
3. the misuse of toxic elements that imply being used for the construction of a building, house, etc.
This for many years has been the cause of the death of animals in extinction way and the low production in agricultural elements for the destruction of the soil.
Nowadays there are companies and people that fight for the preservation of the environment and not the destruction of this, many projects can endanger the life either of the fauna and flora one of these projects is an avenue ALO (longitudinal avenue) the which it was proposed to pass as an ecosystem of the yellow Juan Bog wetland, without taking into account the ecological damage it could cause.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
1. Carry out environmental awareness campaigns which inform different companies of the damage they are doing when carrying out an overconstruction in a large or small city.
2. In homes of neighborhoods such as in Santa Rosita, Bogotá D.C can be made large buildings demolishing the houses and building small buildings of 5 floors where you can host 5 families per house demolished and built building
3. Carry out specialized studies as well as planning in order to avoid environmental damage in the construction of new roads and buildings.
RELEVANT DATA
The construction sector must take into account that:
We need more than 2 tons of raw materials for every m2 of housing we build, the amount of energy associated with the manufacture of the materials that make up a home can amount to approximately one third of a family's energy consumption over a period of 50 years,The production of construction and demolition waste exceeds the annual ton for habitant.
ECOACTIONS
1. the use of returnable bottles which are made of materials such as plastic but that as their name indicates are returnable which companies
they do a due process to reuse them and not create new bottles
2. the use of saving light bulbs which help the environment in the little use of energy and the little manipulation of chemical materials
3. the use of bags for recycling and organic waste which are separated by the blue and green bag
4. recycling of electronic materials such as batteries which are deposited in special cans and are collected by specialized people for the use of less chemical material
5. close the key when we brush our teeth just like when we wash the dishes
